ATTENTION: Great Deals for Boaters – The MBY Fire Silent Auction…

As you may know, Mrs. Horne and I have taken the lead to raise funds to help the Mattapoisett Boat Yard rebuild – bigger and better than ever.

The stage is set for an incredible Thursday evening at The Bay Club in Mattapoisett, where the silent auction will conclude, and the top money items will go to a live auction. By the way, the October 20 event is SOLD OUT, and we have several names on the waitlist.

The Online Auction

We have used an online auction site to allow online bidding before the in-person event.

At this point, it’s well-stocked with over 70 great items. We’ve already raised almost $20,000 in early bidding, but a lot items have yet to receive a single bid!

Great Auction Items for Boaters

Among the wonderful stuff available for bidding are a dozen great items for boaters. Half of these items have no bids, and except for the dockwa bucks and Edgartown Guest Privileges, none are currently going for anywhere near their market value.

You may get a great bargain, and if not, you’ll be helping us “move the ball” toward rebuilding the Mattapoisett Boat Yard (you may also find some other great items on the site that aren’t specifically for boaters.)
